ENR-HY(YH)Metal Oxide Arrester
1.Overview
The metal oxide arrester is currently one of the most advanced protective devices for limiting overvoltage.It is widely used in power generation,transmission,transformation,and distribution systems to prevent the insulation of electrical equipment from being damaged by overvoltage.
The polymer-housed metal oxide arrester is a research achievement that combines the advantages of organic insulating materials with traditional porcelain-housed metal oxide arrester technology.It not only retains the benefits of porcelain-housed metal oxide arresters but also features excellent electrical insulation properties,high dielectric strength,resistance to tracking and erosion,heat and cold resistance,aging resistance,explosion-proof capabilities,hydrophobicity,and superior sealing performance.
Terms of Use:
1.Indoor or outdoor;
2.Ambient temperature range:-40℃to+55℃;
3.Altitude not exceeding 3000m(porcelain-housed type not exceeding 1000m);
4.Power frequency no less than 48Hz and no more than 62Hz;
5.The continuous power frequency voltage applied between the arrester terminals shall not exceed its continuous operating voltage;
6.Areas with seismic intensity of 8 degrees or below;
7.The maximum wind speed does not exceed 35m/s.

D—Indicates for motors,T—Indicates for electrified railways,X—Indicates for lines
Additional features:W—indicates anti-fouling type G—indicates plateau type TH—indicates for tropical humid regions
III.Model Selection

IV.Inspection and Maintenance
First,check whether the appearance is intact.
Before the product is put into operation,measure the DC reference voltage U1mA value,which shall not be less than the specified value in GB11032-2000;measure the leakage current at 0.75 U1mA,which shall not exceed 50μA;after operation,test every four years to verify compliance.No power frequency discharge voltage test is allowed for gapless surge arresters.
5.Technical Standards
The product performance complies with the technical requirements of GB11032-2000,IEC60099-4,and IEEE.C62.11 standards.
